Postage Increases, How Will New Rates Affect My Mail? As you may or may not know, The United States Postal Service is starting the new year off with an increase in rates across the board with the date set for January 22, 2017. The largest impact to the CPS client base will be the increase made to discounted First Class Mail, while not as high as we've seen in prior years, the new rate set by the United States Postal Service for pieces under 2oz will increase by $0.004 or 4/10 of 1 cent. Though the increase in discounted First Class Postage will affect the majority of CPS clients, it is also important to note that rates will increase for all First Class Mail as well, From Letters to Flats mailed by weight. For additional information on First Class increases, feel free to call or email our Client Care Department. 877-454-7411
